The region borders Kenya to the north east. It also borders Lake Victoria. It contains the vast and astonishing concentration of plain animals left anywhere in Africa. It is home to the Serengeti National Park, one of the world’s famous national parks and it homes a diverse range of wildlife. It is home to more than a million wild beasts 200,000 zebras and 300000 Thomson’s gazelles.
